Chattanooga--April 28, 2010--  Manager of Customer Contracts  

 Position Purpose

Negotiate, prepare, review, and/or draft contracts involving customer relationships and related matters.  Assist attorney in handling all special contract related projects.   

 Job Functions

·         Review all customer contracts and ensure that all standard provisions are incorporated.   

·         Verify that all involved parties are in agreement on the conditions of established contract.

·         Compile reports on status of all customer contracts.   

·         Submit weekly reports to senior management on status of open projects and any issues related.

·         Perform special contract related projects for senior management and corporate officers.

·         Maintain awareness of current laws and regulations pertinent to the trucking industry.

·         May include other duties as assigned by senior management.

 Key Knowledge and Experience

·         BS or BA degree required.

·         Experience in the trucking or legal industry preferred but not required.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and proficient with Adobe Acrobat. 

·         Proficient in other software programs necessary to perform job function.

·         Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving and innovative-thinking skills.
